Kick Cancers Butt Day
3 Oct 2026Ok Team, this Wednesday is Kick Cancer’s Butt Day which means the GCC’s corporate sponsor will match all donations received that day.
So hit the emails and get on the socials and let your friends and family know this Wednesday is the day to make a donation. Don’t be shy and keep reminding them. People will often want to make a donation but will forget, so don’t let them.
Of course if you want to make a donation to yourself this Wednesday is the day.

This October, Northern Beaches Old Spokes is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Because cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia. Right now, 90 children are diagnosed every month, and sadly, 3 die every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
And so we are riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support our challenge by making a donation through our fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Together, we can save little lives.
